Presidency spokesperson: Negotiations for new govt in process
Discussions surrounding the formation of the new cabinet are still in process, presidential spokesperson Yasser Ali said Tuesday, noting that the new government might be named either before or after President Mohamed Morsy’s trip to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. Final day of Iran nuclear talks underway
Iran and world powers have entered a second and final day of a new round of talks aimed at breaking a decade-old deadlock over the Islamic state's disputed nuclear programme. The two sides held a tense day of negotiation in the Kazakh city of Almaty on Friday that ended with no breakthrough.   Iranian negotiators said they had outlined their own "specific" proposals, but a Western diplomat said they had still not responded clearly to the initiative from the big powers.

At least four people have been killed in a suicide bombing that hit a US consular vehicle in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar. Brahimi says change 'unavoidable' in Syria
Lakhdar Brahimi, the UN-Arab League Special Representative for Syria, has said that change in Syria has to be part of the solution.
